The app is independently produced, not an official MLIT product. Method Each coordinate is calculated from actual downloaded MLIT station geometry. These are not guessed coordinates or text-address geocoding results. Geometry is EPSG:6668/JGD2011, geographic longitude/latitude. A point is a length-weighted centroid of unique station LineString segments, with local longitude scaling. The same process generates coordinatesByLine. These representative station locations are not station exits or pedestrian routing endpoints. Display precision does not establish real-world accuracy. Coverage All 9 Tokyo Metro service lines (including Marunouchi branch), all 4 Toei subway lines and all 30 JR Yamanote service stations. Same-name stations across selected operators/lines are grouped into one selector entry; different-named interchanges stay separate. Complete selected lines extend beyond Tokyo prefecture. No other operators' through-running branches are included. Membership corrections, verified against official operator sources 1. JR Yamanote has 30 stations. MLIT physical lines use 山手線, 東北線 and 東海道線 rather than the entire circle as one service. The station list and sequence were checked at https://media.jreast.co.jp/articles/1214 . Coordinates remain derived solely from MLIT. 2. Fukutoshin has 16 stations. The first five shared-track stations are not separate Fukutoshin geometry records in MLIT. Their Yurakucho-line geometry is used after verifying membership at https://www.tokyometro.jp/station/line_fukutoshin/index.html . 3. Marunouchi main line and branch are one service line in the selector. Duplicate Nakano-sakaue records are merged. Only facts about membership/order are used from operator pages; their prose, maps, logos and photos are not included or relicensed. Deliverables stations_tokyo.json: complete metadata, line definitions, station entries and source IDs. stations_tokyo_array.json: same station entries as a compact top-level JSON array for straightforward app import. stations_selected_source.geojson: exact selected source geometries and properties for audit. stations_mlit_raw.geojson: original nationwide station GeoJSON extracted from the source ZIP.
